8th grade: Explore Test - Mark your calendars for Saturday October 2(A-K) and October 16(L-Z). All 8th grade students will go to their future high school to take this test to help the HS determine academic placement for next years incoming freshman. Please call the High School that your student(s) will be attending not HBMS. All 8th grade volleyball players should plan on taking their test on October 2 due to end of season tournaments.
Your students did an awesome job making it through their first full week of school. Enjoy the long weekend(Labor Day Monday-No school) and the beautiful weather. Get the kids outside. See you all Tuesday.
HBMS PTO meetings take place the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30PM in our media center. All parent are welcome to attend. First meeting of the year 9/7/10.
I forgot something at school! How late do they stay open? Common statements by our students. Our building can be accessed after hours (2:15pm-10:00pm0 through door #17. Our custodians are busy cleaning, but are available if you need assistance. WE rent out our building to the park district and E-Free church Monday-Thursday night. .
When dropping off your students at HBMS to start the day (7:30am), or picking up students at the end of the day (2:14) please use the church access road and parking lot. This will allow you easy exiting and keep cars away from our 28 school busses . Thanks, Mr. Ludwig.
