Welcome to Woods Creek School! Our school opened in the fall of 1997 and we have been fortunate to establish a strong school community since that time. Our school has just under 800 students in grades K-5. We have approximately 55 certified staff including classroom teachers and our learning specialists. Students and parents have an opportunity to request a type of classroom environment in first and fourth grade. We have traditional grade classes for students as well as ten multiage classes for students in grades 1 and 2 as well as students in grades 4 and 5. A variety of activities are available to our student community throughout the year. We encourage parents to visit this site regularly for current information as well as check your child's backpack each day for information that is sent home with students. Our third grade students are in their final rehearsals for their November music program, "This Old Gingerbread House" that will be presented on Thursday, November 20, at 7:00 PM in our school gym. The gym doors will open at 6:30 PM and students are asked to arrive between 6:30 and 6:40 PM. We look forward to their awesome performance!!

Parent Teacher Conferences |

Fall parent teacher conferences are scheduled for November 24 and 25. Our teachers look forward to talking with parents to celebrate student accomplishments and address any challenges students may be facing. All parents will be receiving a conference note between November 6 and November 12 with their specific conference appointment. Please return these appointment notes immediately in order to confirm your appointment or request a change. All conferences are scheduled for 20 minutes. We will be meeting with parents on November 24 between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM and on November 25 between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

Woods Creek's PTO will be hosting their annual Fall Book Fair on November 13, 14, and 15. A wide variety of high quality paperbacks and hard cover books will be available for our families to purchase. Shopping hours will be Thursday and Friday from 4:00 - 7:30 PM and Saturday, November 15, from 9:00 AM - Noon. This event will take place in our school's learning center. Consider it a great way to begin your holiday shopping!! Thank you to our chairpersons Kathy Basil and Dianne Newton for organizing this event.

Thank you again to our families who participated in our fall fundraiser. The class selling the most items was Ms. Frank's third grade. They were treated to a special field trip breakfast to Old Country Buffet compliments of our principal, Dr. Les, and our assistant principal, Ms. Masucci. All fundraising monies are now due in our school office. Please make sure it is turned in immediately if you haven't already done so.
