What's Happening in the Library? |
|
We had a great first Family Library Night in September with many new families signing up for library cards. All West families are invited and encouraged to come to the library from 7:00-8:00 p.m. the third Thursday of each month (except December and May) to check out books. Each family can check out up to six books for two weeks, which can then be returned to school with students. The remaining Family Library Night dates are: Oct. 16th, Nov. 20th, Jan.15th, Feb. 19th, Mar. 19th and April 16th. Each Family Library Night (which we call FLN here at West) will include book checkout time (about 25 minutes), a story read aloud by a West staff member, and drawings for free books--so don't forget to sign up when you come!
